Arrival from 10h00 on - at 11h00 Welcome Address by the President and start of the entertainment course of the entered Contis

around ca. 13h00 Lunch and before the ranking and distribution of prices Pickwick Versa will perform in Dog Dancing guided by the ten year old Aylin Gübeli

Sunday, June 5, 2011 - at the Salzhaus, Wangen an der Aare

the Continental Bulldog at the Fair HUND'2010 from February 5 to 7, 2010 at the Eulach-Hallen, Winterthur
Once more our Contis participated in the Exhibition for dog articles in Winterthur again with the same result that the hours invested were well rewarded by the numerous visitors at our stand which demonstrated genuine interest in our breed
strategic discussion:
just the same as the big applause during the presentations in the Demonstration-Ring on Saturday and on Sunday
Entry of the "Gladiators"	even the very young walk along steadfastly!
After a few rounds by the dogs accompanied by music Imelda Angehrn welcomes the numerous spectators and gives an overview of the requirements for the international recognition by FCI and the reasons for the creation of a new breed during which time four dogs prepare to give an obedience demonstration


after which each of the four dogs showed its specialty
Ch. Pickwick Ulan goes down on a small wooden box, then sits and awaits the order to fetch his Preydummy and to return with it to the wood box
	For Clowy vom Acheberg it's Agility that she loves and she follows the small course correctly and with a lot of enthusiasm
Ch. Aloha vom Acheberg is already a professional in the perfect execution of walking the Z which is asked at the official test for companion dogs as well as the sit and down orders given from a distance.
	but the absolute highlight is shown by Pickwick Quarz who is being drawn around the ring on a blanket on which he stays put for the whole round
after which he is ordered to open a drawer and bring back its contents to his owner	and in the same manner also a plastic toy car

	Quite a difficult exercise is executed at the end of the presentation on Saturday: Pickwick Kaila remains in the down pose while Pickwick Bentley jumps above her.
On Sunday Pickwick Versa entertained the public once more with a Dog Dancing performance, perfectly guided by Aylin Gübeli, which represented the close of the demonstration of our breed
Next time I want to join in the individual presentations as well Pickwick Antares tells his master and not only in the "boring" rounds in the ring

Fifth Family Day Sunday, September 6, 2009 on the terrain of the Kynologischer Verein Fricktal, 5072 Oeschgen


A splendid Sunday in every respect - Nearly a hundred members and friends of our Conti and more than 50 dogs were welcomed by our president Hannes Zaugg-Graf on the ideal terrain of the Kynologischer Verein Fricktal (KVF). The atmosphere was excellent from the beginning to the end - the magnificent autumn weather, the competition course and last but not least the excellent food prepared by the competent kitchen team pf the KVF have of course contirubted highly to the fact that a joyful mood prevailed throughout the whole day and that the newcomers felt very much at ease within the Conti-Family. Attentive Listeners to the instructions about the order of play given by the master of event, Nadja Kleiner, who had prepared five interesting posts

Studying the action plan! - and waiting to go

POST 1 - Course of obstacles: Sit or Down inside the Hulahoop-Ring, Jump through the tire Slalom with balancing a ball on a spoon Tunnel 2 x Jump over Cavalettis Once more Sit or Down inside the Hulahoop-Ring Correct execution and speed were essential.	Ready to go:

Balancing the ball on a spoon in one hand and leading the dog with the other through the slalom was not at all very easy

POST 2 - Pulling the dog on a blanket during one minute and over a distance of 3 m

POST 3 - Concurrence - The dog owner had to declare which way the dog would chose, either in between the two umbrellas or around them?
POST 4 - Chinese Food Altogether three goodies had to be picked up with the sticks and the dogs had to take them without chewing the sticks too.

POST 5 - Questions: to the toxity for dogs of plants and food stuff and concerning calming signals

The "Grown Ups" divided in groups of 6 dogs each according to the chose colour
1st Rank - the green group with 57 points
2nd Rank ex-aequo the pink group with 56 points and the yellow group with 56 points	(Bild-Mitte: ein älterer Beagle, der unbedingt mit seinem Conti-Freund mitmachen wollte und seine Sache toll gemacht hat)
4th Rank ex aequo the off-white group with 55 points and the orange groupe with 55 points
6th Rank - the blue groupe with 52 points
"Hello my good friend", says the small boy, "next year me too will take part in this!"
